We might often think of donation and aid as a small favor to help people in needs. However, this concept of charity may have grown in bigger scale. It is no longer a person-to-person help, it can reach people in different countries. The social foundation has become a large-scale social network among people all over the world.

We often heard of small countries with small income and numerous diseases have killed the citizens. These countries may not be able to handle these entire problems all by themselves. Social foundations can send food, clothes, medical supplies, and even doctors to these countries. Our donations to these foundations support all the cost of sending all those helps for them. We can easily help people in a country that we might only heard on TV without have to leave our nation.

However, if we want to give total help to other people, we can join one of these foundations and become a social worker. We can help doing the administration works, raising more funds or joining the team. Helping other people can be the best thing that we ever done. Showing our care and compassion to other people might be able to save their lives.

We might never learn it from the books, but helping people and donating our money is one thing that always close to our life. The smallest thing that we do for other people probably can save their life. For example donating small change money to the homeless right on the corner. The money will do nothing for us, but it can buy dinner for the homeless.

We might never realize it, but our parents started it this way. They gave us examples on helping people. They never told us to share some of our money with other people, but they show us to give money to the poor ones. This can be the most effective way on growing social awareness among children. With the right examples, we will remember it as a way of showing our compassion to the poor ones. We do not need to read a book and learn the way to give our donations. Our care and compassion to the other will lead us the way.

If we cannot hand over our donations all by ourselves, we can use the social foundations and charity houses. It is not hard to find one of these places. The social workers from these places will receive our donation and send it to the persons who really need it.
